Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
In short
Kivo is an app for couples: daily questions, date ideas, conversation topics, articles and an intimacy section. By using Kivo you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Who provides the service
Yevheniia Stratichuk, sole proprietor, Ukraine

Age
Kivo is intended for people aged 16 and over. The intimacy section is for adults only (18+): the app asks you to confirm your age before entering it.
Your account and your couple
- You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.
- To use Kivo together, one partner invites the other with a code. You can be in a couple with only one person at a time.
- Either partner can disconnect the couple at any time. Shared couple data (moods, hints, shared favorites) is deleted when that happens.
Kivo Premium
Some content is available only with a Kivo Premium subscription.
- One subscription per couple. Your partner gets Premium access while your subscription is active and you remain a couple. If the couple is disconnected, only the person who paid keeps access.
- The price, currency and taxes are shown in Google Play or the App Store before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- The annual subscription may start with a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the paid period begins. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a different subscription.
- If both partners have their own subscriptions, both stay active and are billed separately — either of you can cancel yours in your store settings.
Cancellation and refunds
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Payments are processed by Google and Apple, so refunds follow their policies and are requested through Google Play or the App Store. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Kivo is not therapy
Kivo's content is general in nature and is not psychological, medical or legal advice. The app does not replace working with a professional. If there is abuse or a threat to your safety in a relationship, please contact the appropriate services.
Your content
Your moods, hints, answers and anything else you add to Kivo are visible to your partner in the couple. You are responsible for what you write, and you agree not to use Kivo to insult, harass or mislead other people.
Your content belongs to you. We use it only to make the app work for you and your partner.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in your profile settings in the app. Your data and your couple's data are deleted with it. Deleting your account does not cancel your store subscription — do that separately in your Google Play or App Store settings.
We may restrict access to Kivo if an account is used in breach of these terms.
Liability
We work to keep Kivo running reliably, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The last-updated date is always at the top of this page. We'll let you know in the app about any significant changes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
